Five arrested on terrorism suspicion near RAF Fairford

Five men from London were arrested Sept. 27 in Whelford, near RAF Fairford, on suspicion of terrorism offences. Counterterrorism police say armed officers stopped three vans around 12:45 a.m. after reports they were heading toward the base, a British airbase used by the U.S. The investigation continued Sept. 28.
