Company Cancels Big Order for Generators to Power AI Computers

Crusoe has cancelled its $1.25 billion order for 29 Superpower generators, 42-megawatt units that make electricity, from Boom Supersonic. They were to power its large computer buildings for artificial intelligence. Boom chief Blake Scholl announced the split on Sept. 25, 2026, and Crusoe confirmed it, ending its role as first buyer. Deliveries were due in 2027.
