Judge reduces Chris Brown $12.9 million dog-attack award to $9.5 million

Los Angeles County Judge Huey P. Cotton ruled the $12.9 million jury award to Maria Avila over a 2020 mauling by Chris Brown's dog in Tarzana, California, was excessive. Avila must consent to $9.5 million or face a new trial on damages.
