Crusoe Cancels $1.25B Order for AI Data Center Turbines

Crusoe has cancelled its $1.25 billion order for 29 42-megawatt Superpower turbines — onsite power units — from Boom Supersonic for its AI data centers. Boom CEO Blake Scholl disclosed the split on Sept. 25, 2026, and Crusoe confirmed it is no longer working with Boom, ending its role as first buyer. Deliveries had been due in 2027.
