Education chief unhappy over call to hide advice from public

Education chief Ellen MacGregor-Reid says she's “not happy” after leaked video showed official Dr Catherine Law telling staff not to write advice to Education Minister Erica Stanford’s office, like leaving no trail so the public cannot ask for it under the OIA. She told RNZ’s Morning Report she could not explain it, said it was wrong, and ordered a review.
