Attacks on Britain's trains hit a record high

Attacks on people using Britain's main train network hit 13,464 in 2025-26, says the Office of Rail and Road, which keeps track of rail safety. That is 36% higher than the year before and the most since counting began in 2004. I'll be watching if the jump means more people reporting, or more danger as train trips recover.
