Anti-South Asian Hate Posts on X Rose 240% in U.S., Report Finds

Monthly anti-South Asian hate posts on X in the U.S. rose 240%, from 12,904 in January 2024 to 43,843 in June 2026, the Center for the Study of Organized Hate reported September 28, 2026. Researchers counted over 542,000 such posts from January 2025 to June 2026, with five of the six busiest months near the end of that period.
