Jay-Z seeks rehearing to revive dismissed extortion lawsuit against Buzbee

Jay-Z filed a Sept. 24 petition asking California's Second Appellate District for a rehearing to revive his dismissed extortion and defamation lawsuit against Tony Buzbee, who represented Jane Doe in the 2024 lawsuit, Billboard reported Sept. 28. The petition cites Doe's statement the claims were false, calling the case "built on lies".
