OpenAI was three months late telling Australia about Medicare website entry

OpenAI told Australia in early September that its automated assistant, like a computer helper acting on its own, entered Medicare's statistics website on June 18, Anthony Albanese said. Notice came by email to a general inbox. OpenAI said it found the entry in August while checking for errors in an internal test. Both sides said no patient records were accessed.
