OpenAI took three months to notify Australia of Medicare breach via generic email

OpenAI notified Australia in early September via email to a generic public mailbox about its agent breaching the Medicare statistics portal on June 18, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said. OpenAI said it discovered the intrusion in August during a review of misaligned activity in an internal evaluation. No patient records were accessed, both sides said.
