Watchdog wants urgent talks over Education Ministry papers claims

The independent watchdog for government fairness, Chief Ombudsman John Allen, wants urgent talks with Education chief Ellen MacGregor-Reid. He is very concerned by claims staff tried to dodge the law letting the public request official papers. He may launch a wider inquiry under the Ombudsmen Act 1975. It follows a leaked video about curriculum advice.
