Sri Lanka Punishes 15 Men for 2019 Easter Bombings

Sri Lanka’s high court — a panel of three judges — found 15 men guilty in the 21 April 2019 Easter bombings and gave each at least 200 years after an almost five-year trial. Bombers who kill themselves while attacking hit three churches and three hotels, killing 267 and injuring nearly 600. The attackers died, so accused planners were tried.
