Sri Lanka sentences 15 to 200+ years over 2019 Easter bombings

A three-judge high court in Sri Lanka convicted 15 men over the 2019 Easter bombings and sentenced each to at least 200 years after a nearly five-year trial. The 21 April 2019 suicide attacks on three churches and three hotels killed 267 people and wounded nearly 600. None of the bombers survived, leaving alleged planners to face prosecution.
