Trump says U.S. will keep buying Canadian farm fertilizer

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States will keep buying potash from Canada. Potash, like a vitamin for crops, helps farmers grow food. He spoke in a one-on-one meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the United Nations. Canada supplies about 85 per cent of U.S. needs, a reliance that earlier spared fertilizer from U.S. import taxes.
