Trump says U.S. will keep buying Canadian potash

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States would continue to buy potash from Canada. He spoke during a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the United Nations. Canada supplies about 85 per cent of U.S. potash needs, a dependence that previously earned fertilizer carveouts from U.S. tariffs.
