Sunderland Council Stops Supporting Anti-Racism Charity

Sunderland's local council, now run by the Reform UK party, has ended 30 years of support for Show Racism the Red Card. The anti-racism charity started in Sunderland in 1996 with the council's backing. Leader Christopher Eynon said it won't back 'politically charged organisations with an agenda,' but racism has no place in the city.
