Sunderland Council Ends 30-Year Backing for Anti-Racism Charity

Sunderland City Council, now led by Reform UK, has stopped supporting Show Racism the Red Card after 30 years. The charity was founded in the city in 1996 and first backed by the council. Leader Christopher Eynon said the council won't support 'politically charged organisations with an agenda,' but said racism has no place in Sunderland.
