Board of Peace Pitches $2.45 Billion Plan to Rebuild Gaza

A U.S.-backed Board of Peace has proposed a $2.45 billion, six-month plan to begin rebuilding Gaza and running basic administration. The proposal surfaced Sept. 23, 2026, before a briefing for dozens of countries at the UN General Assembly. Nine members have agreed to promise money, though how funds will be paid out is still unclear.
