Discord begins automatic sorting into teen and adult groups

Discord began rolling out age assurance in the week to 23 September 2026, sorting accounts into teen (13-17) and adult (18+) groups. Discord states teens keep messaging, voice calls and non-restricted servers but are blocked from age-restricted content. Adults see no change. Status is checkable at User Settings > Account Status.
