Earl Spencer Says Sorry for Blaming Wrong Person for Diana Photos

Earl Spencer said sorry to Piers Morgan on 22 September 2026, the day his book Swan Song: Diana, My Sister came out, for wrongly saying Morgan printed private gym photos of Diana. The Sunday Mirror printed them on 7 November 1993, when Morgan worked at The Sun; he joined the Daily Mirror in October 1995. Morgan had threatened to sue.
