TikTok U.S. Joins Lantern Team Effort to Keep Children Safe

TikTok USDS Joint Venture is joining Lantern, a child-protection effort started in 2023 by the Tech Coalition of tech companies. Like neighborhood watch groups sharing suspect descriptions, members — including Google, Meta, Microsoft, Apple, Discord and others — share warning clues, over 2 million through 2025. The U.S. unit will share and receive clues to spot abusers working across apps.
