Lib Dems want 140 seats to share power

Liberal Democrats have privately talked about winning about 140 lawmakers to decide who governs if no party wins outright. That builds on 72 lawmakers won with just over 12% of votes in 2024. Ed Davey and his team will keep focusing efforts on seats now held by the Conservatives.
