Winston Peters says NZ will recognise Palestine one day

Winston Peters, the minister who handles dealings with other countries, says New Zealand will accept Palestine as a state one day, saying it is "when, not if". He said it in his last speech as minister in this Government on 21 September 2026, according to RNZ. The Beehive published it as "There's always a way to talk".
