Former Summerside mayor set to lead P.E.I. Liberals with no rivals

Dan Kutcher quit as mayor of Summerside to run for leader of the P.E.I. Liberal Party. No one else signed up, so he will win the job automatically at the party's Sept. 13 convention. A leadership race with only one candidate means no vote is needed. Kutcher then plans to run for a seat in the legislature.
