Former Summerside mayor unopposed for P.E.I. Liberal leadership

Dan Kutcher resigned as mayor of Summerside to run for the P.E.I. Liberal leadership. With no other candidates approved before the nomination deadline, he will be acclaimed — chosen without a vote — at the party's Sept. 13 convention. Kutcher then plans to seek a legislature seat in a Summerside-area district.
