Google adds voice control to Gmail, Docs, and Keep

On September 3, 2026, Google will let mobile users manage email, documents, and notes by speaking aloud, using its AI assistant called Gemini. You can ask follow-up questions or cut in mid-sentence to change direction. The features — Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live — were first shown at Google I/O in May and are labeled "coming soon" for business customers.
