Three Popular AI Chatbots Stop Working at the Same Time

ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude — three of the most widely used AI chatbots — all stopped working around 11AM ET on September 3, 2026. It was the first known time all three major providers failed simultaneously. ChatGPT's problems spanned conversations, logins, voice, search, and image generation. No cause had been found. Each provider said it was working on a fix.
