Investigation Into Farage's £5 Million Payment Restarts as Reform UK Conference Begins

MPs must publicly declare large payments they receive. Nigel Farage got £5 million from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne in 2024 and didn't declare it. An investigation started but paused when Farage called a new election in Clacton, which he won. That investigation has now restarted. Farage says the money was personal and denies breaking rules. Reform UK's conference opens in Birmingham on 3 September.
