Nepal Buries Flood Victims as Thousands Stay Missing

A wall of ice and rock broke off a glacier on the Nepal-China border, releasing a sudden flood that has killed 781 people, according to Nepal's disaster agency. Around 100 bodies no one could identify have been buried in group ceremonies, meaning rescuers have shifted from searching for survivors to recovering the dead. Over 2,500 people are still missing in hard-to-reach mountain valleys, and the death toll could climb much higher.
