NASA's New Telescope Sees Farther Than Hubble — and Shares Everything Freely

NASA's $4.3 billion Roman Space Telescope launches August 30 from Kennedy Space Center. Its infrared camera — a tool that sees heat instead of visible light — takes pictures as sharp as Hubble's but covers 100 times more sky. NASA says it could spot light from a billion galaxies. Every image will be free and public immediately.
