Tropical Storm Dolly Is Gone, but Heavy Rain Still Heads for the Caribbean

Tropical Storm Dolly broke apart within a day of forming on August 27, and the National Hurricane Center has stopped tracking it. No coastal warnings remain. But the storm's leftover moisture is still expected to bring heavy rain and sudden flooding to several Caribbean islands — including Puerto Rico and Hispaniola — through early next week.
