Meta Must Change How Instagram and Facebook Work for Kids

Meta agreed with 52 state prosecutors to change Instagram and Facebook for users under 18: a two-hour daily limit, no access from midnight to 6 a.m., silenced notifications during school hours, and hidden like counts. Lawmakers have tried but failed to pass rules like these. The deal applies only to Meta, not its competitors.
