Two Airport Workers Die from Rare Mosquito Illness

Two Frankfurt Airport workers died and four are hospitalized after catching malaria — a deadly disease spread by mosquito bites — from an infected mosquito likely carried in on a plane, Germany's health institute confirmed. Trapped mosquitoes are being genetically tested in Antwerp to find where they came from.
