BBC's own editor says the broadcaster will keep shrinking faster

BBC media editor Amol Rajan says the broadcaster is "destined to shrink at an accelerating rate," with BBC News declining fastest. The BBC must save £500 million in two years as the licence fee — the annual charge for watching live TV — buys less and more people skip paying. Rajan, leaving Radio 4's Today for YouTube, called Today "the last big mass-market news programme."
