Microsoft's Special-Edition Xbox Preorders Open August 27

Microsoft opens preorders for a special, see-through green Xbox on August 27 at 10 AM ET. Each unit is laser-etched, individually numbered, includes 1 TB of storage, and comes with a full download of Halo: Campaign Evolved. A matching green controller arrives with the console on November 13. Dedicated fans got early-access emails August 26.
