Record flu hospital stays for young children as experts push for free vaccines

More young children are ending up in hospital with the flu than at any point in the past decade — some in intensive care. Māori and Pasifika children have been hit hardest. Dr Mamaeroa David, who advises the Government on vaccines, says the flu jab should be free for all young children.
