Australia's music charts will not allow songs made entirely by AI

Starting the week of August 31, 2026, ARIA — Australia's official music charts — will ban songs made entirely by artificial intelligence. Songs that use some AI can still qualify, but only if a person did most of the creative work and the song follows copyright law. ARIA's rule matches chart guidelines already used internationally.
