Labour agrees to back government's plan to ban under-16s from social media

Labour leader Chris Hipkins says his party will support a law banning under-16s from social media. He wrote to Education Minister Erica Stanford, who heard about it from reporters and said she had not yet read the letter. National's allies, ACT and NZ First, publicly oppose the plan.
