Raspberry Pi Releases Free Guide for Building a Portable DIY Computer

Raspberry Pi released its first complete guide on 24 August 2026 for building a "cyberdeck" — a portable, custom computer housed in a rugged case. The free guide includes printable 3D parts, wiring diagrams, assembly steps, and a video. The build uses a 16 GB Raspberry Pi 5. Head of social Ashley Whittaker said cyberdecks have been everywhere this year.
