Universities Now Teach AI Safety Alongside AI Basics

Computer science programs are adding courses on AI safety—how to build AI systems responsibly—alongside traditional AI training. Stanford recently invited an AI safety researcher to teach students. As AI becomes more powerful faster than governments can regulate it, universities are signaling that safety should matter as much as capability when training the next generation of AI builders.
