New Zealand Wants to Ban Kids Under 16 From Social Media

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced a bill blocking children under 16 from social media. Companies that don't comply could be fined up to 10% of their worldwide income. Platforms must check users' ages through account details, facial scans, or digital ID. The bill hasn't been introduced to parliament yet.
