Another Storm Heads for Hawaii Still Recovering From Hurricane Lala

Tropical Storm Moke, with winds of 85 km/h, approached Hawaii on 22 August 2026. A week earlier, Hurricane Lala killed one person, left 130,000 without electricity, and dropped 39 inches of rain. Soaked ground and power not fully back until 8 September make flooding more likely. Governor Green said a third storm could follow within a week.
