Accounting Software Startup Rillet Valued at $1 Billion

Rillet, a startup building AI-powered accounting software, raised $100 million and is now valued at $1 billion — a milestone known as unicorn status. The funding round, led by investor Seth Pierrepont of ICONIQ, closed within 48 hours of a board meeting where Rillet was not actively seeking money. Annualized revenue had just doubled. Total raised: $200 million.
