Lib Dems Admit Unfair Treatment Over Religion; Court to Set Payout

The Liberal Democrats admitted they unfairly treated former election candidate David Campanale because of his religion, breaking equality law. A London court must now decide how much to pay him. Campanale wants £790,000 for lost income and reputation. The party says that is far too high and offers £14,000 for hurt feelings only.
