Space data center startup Starcloud doubles its value to $2.3 billion

Starcloud, a startup building data centers in space, raised $250 million from investors including Nvidia and Cisco. The funding values the company at $2.3 billion, up from $1.1 billion in March 2026. The money will pay for a bigger factory and a new spacecraft designed to launch on SpaceX's Starship. Starcloud already runs a computer chip in orbit.
