HyperX Announces Cloud Alpha Air, Its First Open-Back Gaming Headset

HyperX has announced the Cloud Alpha Air, its first open-back gaming headset, priced at $150 wired-only. Open-back means the earcups have grilles that let air and sound pass through, giving a more natural listening experience. It includes 40mm speakers, ultrasuede ear cushions, a metal headband, a detachable microphone, USB-A/C cables, and software for adjusting sound.
