BBC Radio 2 DJ Trevor Nelson revealed on August 20 that he had surgery to remove a brain tumour on August 10. A brain tumour is a growth of abnormal cells in the brain. The 62-year-old had stepped back from his shows in June, citing only health issues. He kept the diagnosis private for two months and hopes to return to work soon.
