Early Investor in AI Chipmaker Cerebras Moves to Venture Firm Mayfield

Adit Singh joined Mayfield, a venture capital firm managing $3 billion, on August 20, 2026. About ten years ago at Foundation Capital, he co-led the first investment in Cerebras, a company that designs specialized computer chips for artificial intelligence. Cerebras went public in May 2026 and is now valued near $50 billion. Singh will invest in hardware, software, cybersecurity, and physical AI at Mayfield.
