Records Show FCC Leader Met With White House Eight Times

The head of the FCC, Brendan Carr, met with White House officials at least eight times and had three planned calls with Trump aides — including Susie Wiles and Health Secretary RFK Jr. — between March 2025 and February 2026. A watchdog group uncovered this through a public-records lawsuit. The FCC is meant to operate independently of the president. Carr won't discuss the meetings.
