Government orders wider review of $336m visa computer upgrade

Immigration Minister Erica Stanford wants the Public Service Commission to check the entire $336m Our Future Services programme — a major upgrade to how visas are handled online. This follows a separate review of an Immigration NZ facial and fingerprint system. Specialist David Hosking will lead the review. MBIE, the ministry involved, has welcomed it.
